Disclaimer: These Lake Tahoe hiking guides are not intended to be technical in nature.  I am making them to assist you in finding the best Lake Tahoe hikes that fit your ability level, geographic location, and time constraints, and I hope the pictures speak for the trails.  For more technical details about each hike, refer to the “Further Reading” link provided with each hike.

How can I make this guide better?  Do you have any ideas for content, organization, and so on, while we’re in the early stages?  Please use the contact form below.  Thanks!

California: Fourth of July Lake via Round Top Lake

Hiking to Fourth of July Lake is a great way to escape the more casual hikers stopping at Round Top & Winnemucca Lakes due to the climb out, and is also a great destination for backpackers.
