Maine is definitely on my list of travels...I'd love to anchor in Acadia Nat'l Park in the fall, though I understand I'll be dealing with a lot of dangerous fog!

I'm glad I found your site. This sounds extremely interesting...you'll have to put Maine on your list of travels though because the landscape, mountains, sea is beautiful. I write a blog...grannysfarm@blogspot.com...where I document/write about an old lady living on the farm she created. I didn't give up everything, but did get rid of many trappings to move back to Maine. It is a wonderful experience to learn how to live without the deadlines that someone else makes for you. Keep working at it...life is short, no really!

It's not a "sewing machine." It's a "Power Tool for Textiles." Arr-arr-arr. (not a pirate "arr-arr-arr.") The same rule applies as to all handy projects: Measure twice, cut once. And with textiles, sometimes the additional rule of "rip it out and re-stitch as needed." Good luck on this part of the adventure!

Keep the Rum and Varnish far apart...

Looking forward to see pics from the adventures underway. I'll tell you Deuce, I really think you're taking an exciting gamble. I am a little jealous, but I think I've found a really nice sword to fall on. Let me know if you get out the East Coast way and we'll figure out the USAF's problems over a shot of rum...or varnish.
