I have been interested in photography ever since a class in 1997. It started as a casual hobby, and in the past few years has evolved into something more serious. I have been devoting a lot of time to learn new techniques and make myself better. Most importantly, I'm open to criticism.
PhotographsHaving grown up in Lake Tahoe, I'm at home in the outdoors. In over 15+ years of experience, I've backpacked, mountain biked, and hiked in diverse places such as the Chilean Andes, River-Of-No-Return Wilderness, jungles of Costa Rica, Sierra Nevadas, Irish countryside, and Sonoran Desert. I love to use this experience combined with photography to take pictures of beautiful places that most people normally wouldn't see. Of particular interest are vanishing landscapes and remnants of past ways of life.
